Anderson .Paak and Cordae wrapped a promotional tour for their joint album "Heavy Is The Crown" with an outdoor event in New York City on the evening of Oct. 30, 2026.

The first point concerns the tour's reach. The run had already stopped in Los Angeles, London, San Francisco and Chicago, and included a Fatburger block party in West Hollywood. Fans at these stops could buy merchandise, purchase exclusive vinyl editions of the album and get items signed during meet-and-greet sessions.

The second point is what occurred in New York. As the sun set on East 14th Street, the two artists arrived on wheels to a crowd that had gathered. They performed for those in attendance, including the album's lead single "A Good Day." The performance took place from the back of a moving vehicle amid commuter traffic.

The third point covers the items made available at the New York stop. The event offered vinyl editions of "Heavy Is The Crown" for purchase, along with autographing opportunities. Available merchandise included a hoodie, two t-shirts and a set of drumsticks. Some fans in line had been waiting since noon or earlier.

The album's lead single samples Bill Withers' 1977 song "Lovely Day," and its title references Ice Cube's 1993 track "It Was A Good Day." The record is available on vinyl and streaming platforms.

The event in New York occurred ahead of Hip-Hop History Month. Cordae has also discussed his Hi Level record label.
